The Assassin's Creed videogame saga enjoys a faithful reproduction of historical places and periods, with the possibility of reliving them and visiting them. The player proceeds to some of the most famous places in the world carrying out the various missions assigned, retracing important historical periods. After the success of the various chapters of history, a new version without the objectives of the game was introduced, with the aim of being able to exclusively visit the historical places.
Learning Object / Suggested activities with students
The Discovery Tour is a mode that allows players to travel freely throughout Ancient Egypt to discover details of its history and the daily lives of its inhabitants thanks to guided tours by historians and Egyptologists. It is a content that focuses exclusively on exploration in a world free of conflicts, pressures or limits linked to normal game dynamics.

That is great tool to perceive the moments of history, to get knowledge about the particular processes or facts in visual way: not from pictures and text in the books, but by going through the 3 D visualizations, plot of the game. Like to see with your own eyes.

Great game for history and geography lessons, especially for kids with higher learning skills for the "deep" learning and really to get to know the ancient Egypt.
