Geometry dash is an Arcade game based on music. Players have to control the playing character through levels of obstacles according to music.

The difficulty of the levels is rising over time. Learners have to listen closely to the music to avoid obstacles by jumping or not jumping at the right moment. Some levels have parts where the character changes through the level into a spaceship so it is necessary to change the strategy throughout the game.

Learning Object / Suggested activities with students
During class it is possible to let the learners play several levels and comparing the given music. Another approach would be try out a couple of levels and compare the music and challenges.

Students can in groups discuss the used accords in the music and try to focus on melody or accords or other aspects of the music and timing.
